Anyone on here remember seeing a guy from poland selling wrc spoilers with the top fin in carbon.

Cant seem to find out any info on it??

 

yeah mate - do a search for cosworth, and carbon on ebay - all in there.
Failing that, there was a post that I put up on escortrscosworth.com, with a link!

the carbon top version was in uk 420 pounds, in Germany 420 euros, so roughly 30% cheaper.

there is a fibre version in German ebay currently 380 euros.

The ones in the pics from the polish guy arn't WRC spoilers though, they are for a MK 6 maxi escort, there are loads of originals and copies kicking about. The mk6 ones do fit but have a gap in the centre where the hump is, the mk6 ones also have a cut out for the rear windscreen wiper.

There are a lot of supposed WRC spoilers for sale on ebay

Like this, they are nothing like a mk 5 WRC spoiler, the mk 5 item has no cut out for a rear wiper.

The mk 6 escort rear hatch is raised in the middle,



So if you fit one of these the Mk6 type WRC spoilers to a mk5 you have a gap in centre as well as a cut out for a wiper thats not there on an esc cos or esc WRC.

You need to ensure you buy a MK5 WRC Spoiler, unless you have a mk 6...lol...







The polish one has a cut -out so i'd assume it was a mk 6....
