insurance renewal time soon, last year with greenlight mine was 576 fully comp with protected claims etc and a all mods declared 350 brake saph

ive got full no claims, no points / convictions etc and live in a decent post code (hd3)

do you think hic will better that this year ?

i think they class a saph as a classic now dont they ?

also it wouldnt be so bad if i could insure it for just 6 months a year for when its taxed etc

what are peoples thoughts ?

if you tell them youve had a better quote elsewhere at renewal time they will usually match it as long as its not rediculous. my quote from adrian flux was halfed on the spot on my old banger runaround when i said i was quoted cheaper from tesco.always shop around for better quotes every year and dont just automatically renew with your old insurer. that doesnt seem a bad quote anyway. i was quoted Ł615 after my cosworth conversion on my bmw and that was only Ł85 more than when it had the standard 325 engine.

 

Adrian Flux have just quoted me Ł405 with 4 years ncd and 6 points.

im with hic and paid Ł260 this year,thats fully comp on a classic policy with no NCB used.
I paid 595 last year for a similar specced saff but the guy on the phone told me that this year for some reason they have lowered cossie insurance prices considerably.

 

Which sapph? My latest or the 2 in my sig?
