Default turbo stalling

i converted my erst to efi quite a while ago snd its been really reliable once it was setup,i was out in the car earlier and was having a couple of problems under acceleration,to start off with i thought it was were i had gone over a bump and my foot had lifted the throttle a bit and caused the turbo to chirp as though i was changing gear

i got onto a piece of dual carriage way near me on my way home and started accelerating and it did it again but i thought it was from going over a bump again,so i pushed my foot down hard in 5th and it started doing it again but this time my foot hadnt moved, does anybody know what might be causing thisatall please

chatter occurs when you lift off not accelerate

it wasnt even on full boost though thats the trouble it was just builing up to full boost, ive got a superchips 195 chip in the ecu aswell and its only running 11psi,it seems ok when i dont put my foot right down or if its not under a lot of load (going uphill or against a strong head wind)

Yup, thats surge, where the turbo flows more air that the engines inlet can take, and its forced back out.

it seems fine when i use half throttle and it still boosts up to full boost and seems just as quick,it only seems to do it in 5th gear,i did think about it being surge but wasnt entirely sure
