still very cool though. i think i remember reading about these cars actually turning the rims inside the tyres on the front wheels they had that much grunt...

 

10k can build you a nice mk3 .....better engine ...ecu ........

I could prob get together 15k quite quickly but then tbh i'd still use it for something else, shame as i'd absolutely LOVE the own THIS car! Stuning!

Would go VERY well with my Series 1 which is meant to of toured with this car back in the 80's....

I'll bet you couldnt pay someone £10k to prep a bare bog standard shell to that level, let alone make a better car.

 

I know someonee that sold a minted (standard) 50k miler S1 for 10k so I'd pretty much guess you'd get the asking price or as near as damnit!

 

youre not paying for the spec but what it is a genuine s1 touring car,didnt stop me passing it tho on the fast laps of the s1 aniversary at donno in 2004, go to admit it did feel good and he was giving it some but dont think it was running right by the amount of smoke that was coming out the back
