Default running probs could this be the cause?

could this be the cause of poor running, my s1 isnt boosting its sound like a slow gokart which wont run properly?

this is the throttle body gasket bent in places part of it in the actual throttle body

I'd expect the car to idle very poorly as it was but i can't see it having a massive effect to performance when the car is on boost.

Obviously you need a new one anyway so you may aswell whack a new one on and see what improvements it makes.

highly unlikely the gasket will fix that then.....

With all due respect if you're not very knowledgeable it often works out far more cost effective to at least have someone diagnose the fault for you, ive seen it so many times where people chuck many away doing guess work and buying random parts.
