i aint an expert mate but i bought an lg lcd before xmas and it lasted 6 weeks before it died on me, might just be bad luck but there you go, got a 42'' samsung plasma now and the pictures way better than the lcd was anyway

 

i currently own 2 50ins LG plasmas, im using one right now as a computer monitor and ive had NO issues with them, the other one is used all the time on cebebbies for my little one and theres no screen burn that everyine warned me about with plasmas too

i actually purchased 4 of these tv's as ive recomended them to a mate aswell as my parents and they seem to like it too


the ONLY thing i hate about my plasma is its got a sliver stripe along the bottom,,,,, im a fussy fucker but for what i paied for them i cant complain really

erm not on my fucking tv's

it is anoying me though, but i bought a 19is lcd monitor for the pc to help them match as a little,,,,,,, though now i have 2 screens in the front room with a silver stripe

when i stop being a tight arse and get the courage to buy a wall bracket and install the tv in it wall im hoping tht will help me not to notice it,,,,,, though i doubt it

 

It won't make the slightst difference if it's on a wall or on a stand - a stripe is a stripe

 

i've found my lg one tends to leave screen burn if you are constantly doing the sky plus thing

they go after a while but you can see the impretings left ehre when you turn the tely off soon afterwards

the other thing i only noticed theother day was that you need to clean the screen in the morning before youturn it on, otherwise it tends to leave streaky marks on it as the glass heats up which take forever and a fucking day to shift
