zvh oil cooler

Default zvh oil cooler

hi all having a bit of trouble today, fitted a 2 litre zvh in my s2, only when fitting the oil cooler its too close to the body work at the back of the engine bay and the oil filter will not fit, any ideas of wot i need to do

just had a look at mine and it doesnt have an oil cooler on it and i think mine got a different oil filter on it ,but im fitting a seperate oil cooler to mine.i think you leave the oil cooler off.maybe wrong and if i am someone will put us right.

most peeps dont bother, could use a smaller filter like of a 5 turbo or summet

ive got a oil filter for a 1.4 focus zetec, which i was told to use, which will fit if i don't use the cooler but is this right

Ive got a zvh aswell, its not got the oil cooler either and im using a normal zetec oil filter, im thinking of running a mocal oil cooler is this going to be possible, because im going to have clearence problems aswell.

I have an elbow fitted to the oil "cooler" which allows the oil filter to be mounted a bit different.

The elbow comes off a XR4i but surely they will be factory mounted on several Ford models.

Here's a picture, hopefully it'll be large enough to be any help.
