just been to the local motor factors to get a new one and they had 2 listed, only cheap so i bought both (can get a refund on the one that isnt needed)

does anyone know with one is right??


XTT44 - has a black band between the the fine threaded pole and the nut




XTT71 - has a blue band "

cant find a pic of the blue one or the lead for my cam

 

Well a sender from Ford is either pink or purple.Cant remember which???Regards,Micky

 

both the ones you have are wrong. the correct sender looks like the one pictured above but has a red coloured band instead of the black one. hth

is that a genuine ford colour or are the cheaper versions the same?? these are made by Commercial Ignition

 

the standard one that was in my erst was red and the last time i replaced it was with a standard ford one that had a red band on it too mate.

 

its pinky rather than purple from ford.

 

True it is kind off a pinky colour
