no
pre facelifts use wires
post facelift ones use cables

assuming you mean the pre and post facelift from the 89-90 spec cars

if you are on about the 91-92 change then they are the same

but the rear doors use a 3 wire and the fronts use a 4 wire plug as the fornts are the masters and the rears are just slaves

oh yeah, if you try to use pre 89 ones in a post 90 car the locks work the wrong way round too as the "lock" and "unlock" are powered in reverse
