Default Ever seen this before??????,

RST 1.9, T3 turbo, not run hard untill hot, left to cool down slowly, 4000miles only from a company that advertise large engine for small, and never really been happy with it, did a compression test at the weekend, 120, 118, 22, 50, so something was not right, took the head off tonight, 1 bore scored, no detonation marks, took the engine out and found this,

all the rest of the rings were broken in 2 or 3 pieces,
Now Ive seen broken rings, but never like this.
Any Ideas why????

ive got a 1.9 in mine, its bout 9 yrs old ( only about 15k miles though ) and no problems so im wondering if things have changed since back in the day.

Try Ferriday engineer, I've got 1 of there full monty 1820cc based on the 1800 sierra CVH. Been running 22 psi on cossie managment, greens and T34 for a few thousands miles and tracked it and abused the living shit out of it and it still going strong.
