What managment is everyone using ? ? ? Im running dta on my series 2 and seem to be finding it hard to find someone that maps it, ive rung numerous tunning companies and most people say they dont get involved with dta because its too dificult to map
im considering selling the ecu, loom etc and going for cossie managment or omex. What does eveyone think ? Is it worth the hassle ? ? ?

sas, what sensors are needed for Gotech? is it just a case of buying the ECU and loom and it's plug and play from there?

As said before the basic Gotech just plugs into the dizzy, add the water temp sensor connect to power and take a feed from the plenum JOB DONE!!
My ZVH ran the basic Gotech at 166.6mph

Got an omex 600 ecu on mine....i bought it from the company who mapped the car but i know lots of tuners will map it! Don't think it's ridiculous money either really, easier to fit than cossie management imo.

Now now children
Thanks for the info people, at the moment its 216bhp with 250lbs at 16psi, its got no cold start map so its a bitch to start, and runs like a dog til the temp goes up. spoke to alot of tuners and they say ditch the dta cause its to hard to map.
Its on a t34 with dark greens and im looking for a good 250-260bhp if i can.
People charge alot of money so looks like i beta get saving either nms or jamsport i think
Whos northampton motorsport? Got a number mate ?

ive got gotech but if you would rather have a management system which loads of people around the country will map, maybe its not for you mate ????.
i know its not the same problem your having, ie people saying dta is hard to map so your finding it difficult to find a mapper, but you might then not like the fact, that with gotech, you may be limited by just a couple of tuners willing/able to map it.

Megasquirt and wideband, it'll tune it's own fuelling on the way to the rollers where anyone who's never set a car up can easily find the spark tables. cold start isn't a problem, comes included in the many many available basemaps available for download and you can map your boost control, fan controls, water injection, shift lights, loads of shit. MS works with everything you've already got, you calibrate your TPS by pressing the pedal and it's ready to go. Decent, (but granted a bit dated) interface too.
Gotech plugs into the dizzy and costs about a ton more?
Cos weber is obviously good, but costs a fortune and you have to fuck about with triggers n adapters on threads for sensors and stuff.

I had Go-tech on my last one.
Easy to fit, i didn't even connect the tps and it worked fine
Bit of vacuum hose is needed to go from the inlet manifold to the ecu with the built in MAP sensor

Im cossie managed............ with NMS getting near on 400 BHP out of cossie managed CVH's and 170 mph its obviously very much up to the task.
NMS, Amhed, MSD, Engine Advantanges, and many others can map these conversion and are very experienced in doing do.
Its fair enough someone saying anyone can map a specific ECU however I would rather someone have a great deal of experience withmapping the ECU being used on my car, rather than learning as they go
Supported by a wide selection of cosworth specialists around such as Turbosystems, GGR, TOTD with knowledge of this system the coverage of reputable tuners capable of supporting it are nation wide is unmatched.
Only one choice for me... A wide choice of who maps my car !!

made 153kw atw and 249nm , hometuned using an egt and a a/f meter
told by the operator that i there is another 30kw to be had with a full dyno and race fuel
well pleased with myself!!!!
not as difficult as we are lead to believe , just a bit of common sense and hours of searching the net , but im sure the tuners out there woud disagree strongly
