gaz coilovers grinding

just fitted gaz coilovers to my 2wd sapph,the springs on the back are rubbing off of the inner arch.do i just need to massage the metal to stop this or is there a more sympathetic solution?cheers,lee

You have to mallet the inner arch mate, let me guess I bet its the near side?

yeah,nearside rear,i remembered doing it on my last saph years ago,when i was putting them on i tapped the worst bit in.its still rubbing.oh well,itll just have to be mc hammer time!
