Hi people its that time of the year again for the all ford meets to start again. The first meet of this year is on march the 30th sunday at 2pm. Its at the scotch corner hotel in the back car park. Scotch corner is just off the A1 in the north east/north yorkshire. Like i said its all fords that are welcome. Hope to see you all there.

My mate andy said classic ford are coming to do a feature. I keep trying to get fast ford to come but they said they need to know 2/3 months in advance. Andy said we can only ask the hotel every month to use the car park,cause the hotel has wedding fairs and things like that so they need the car park for themselves.

 

We should just turn up Im sure we'd go down a storm making loads of noise and stinking the place out with petrol fumes Hell, it could be a good little earner if anyone there fancies some unusual wedding cars

Yeh we should but sone white ribbons round the door handles and put the white v on the front of our cars. I dont wanna upset the hotel cause they have been good to us.

 

 

Im trying to get the top magazine, fast ford to come up and do a feature on the scotch corner meet. Andy has already sorted it out for classic ford mag to come. I just thought it would be nice for fast ford mag to come and feature the so called newer fords(rs's xr's st's and whatever else turns up). Ive put the same post on alot of other web sites and If all the people who say they are gonna come turn up,i think we might need a bigger car park.

 

Ive told a few lads on a mondeo forum i post on, a couple of them were interested in having a drive down, but its a scottish mondy forum and its a fair old hike for most of them, you never know though.

 

Well there is soposed to be a few lads in the capri club coming from london and there is normaly a couple who come from scotland. At the last meet the ford probe owners club came and a few of them were from scotland too.

jOHNNYRSTURBO yeh just come down if you come down the A1at the right time you might see some top fords and rs's on the way down. There might be a few from the durham rsoc cogni down and a few from the tyneandwearrsoc. BLACKY well no doubt we be round soon to have a look at your baby when he decides to arrive.

 

Wont take that long pal, straight down the A1, about 45 mins going steady

 

Yeh its so easy to find if your coming from newcastle its straight down the A1 and follow the signs for scotch corner. At the top of the slip road turn right as if you were going on the A66. As soon as you turn right you can see the hotel on the left hand side. We will be in the back car park.

 

Ive just been sending neil from fast ford so pm's and he said since the bloke who takes the photos for classic ford and classic ford is the sister mag of fast ford. Neil said that he is gonna get the bloke to take photos and do a feature ford fast ford too. He said the photographer will pull some of the top cars out and do mini features on them. So if you fancy getting some shots of your car just pop along and you might get lucky.

Have you not been on the web site yet. Its tyneandwearrsoc.co.uk it tells you on the front page. Its at a place called hetton le hole. Follow the signs for the bemish museum on the A1 and turn off down there. Its easy to find.

No its for all fords mate there is just alot of old skool fords there mate belive me you get a good selection of the so called new stuff. If you look on the tyne and wear rsoc web site there is some photos on there from previous meets.the last few times people have come from the local rs owners clubs, there has been a good selection of rs escorts and cossies there mate.

 

As gelnn said jonny, its all ford bud, there is a lot of older fords, but thats due to the capri owners club etc attending, there is still a good selection of newer fords, here is a couple of my pic gallerys from 2 of the meets last year.

there is goin to be a few off us makin the trek down, we are meetin at washington services @12ish if any1 from around there wants to join the convoy they can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Like i said mate its all fords. You could have a mk 4 fiesta with wheel trims on and you would still be welcome. Me and andy normaly get there for about 1 ish mate just in case some people do come early.

 

can me and my mate come in his volvo if my car aint ready?

 

Yeh no bother mate but could you park down the bottom near the hotel so the we have enough room for the fords that come.
