Yeh, you're right, they can look very similar on a photo. I thought moonstone blue only came on the 4wd cossie (and ofcourse the 3drs)? Cant remember seeing a 2WD in Moonstone over in Holland. Maybe colours were made different for certain countries or so?
Here r the known colours that i know of for the 2wd sapphire cos:-
diamond white,
ebony black,
moonstone blue,
mercury gray,
crystal blue,
flint gray,
magenta
Yes Radient red is a colour that was used on the 92 face lift models, i only know of a few in that colour, Also i forgot about smokestone blue - v nice colour

that car above is mercury grey
the difference is quite noticeable, moonstone is much lighter
I have done my research, And there is no records of ford ever sold a 2WD sapphire in radient red, If you know of one (KSA-COSSY) the chance is that it has been resprayed or not an original cosworth shell, If anyone can add to this then feel free to do so. Just going by records... I have my contacts lol....

there IS more than one original 2wd in red, so your 14 minute research cant have been good enough
the one on the left is 2wd, the one on the right is 4x4
there is another radiant red 2wd, and the reg on it is G50 PJO, only one digit difference to the one shown above
If that is the case fair play, the chance is you got a one off 2WD, The original owner prob requested it to be resprayed in that colour, try checking the build plate on the slam pannel, should say radient red in german, As far as the records go there is not one that has been sold by ford in stated colour. As for the 4x4, I have seen that passing thru Worcester before!...
Dont want to nit pick but the badges on the back of the so called red 2WD are from a
4X4 so if it is an original car why would anyone want to remove the original metal badges? Hence my sceptism that it is genuine.
