Default My 2.8i capri pics before i break it.

Sad to say as its so fun to drive in the wet , but its time to break this as its out of mot and could do with the money for my cossie.
I thought I might pop up some pics before it goes to the great scrappy in the sky.

S2Steve
Rot box with a stripped out interior and not good front seats left either.
Would need 2 frnt wings, a bonnet, tailgate, and a drivers door.
Your welcome to make an offer.

Dean lose that T4, you won't have any power until you need to change gear! Lob the engine in the Capri, you know you want to! You must be bored of Saph's by now!

Is it a 2.8i special?

How much you looking for? Any T&T at all?

Seems a bit harsh to scrap it ...

No its a 2.8i, with lsd axle, mk2 front grill, minilites and ford motorsport rubber turbo tail. All those bits are worth the money for me to break it as the car has just run out of mot an only has 2 or 3months tax.

To get it trough an mot its needs at at min;-
Front wings
bonnet repair or new
repair to sills
repair to drivers door shut in a few places'
repair to a pillar
new rear brakes (poss not)
two tyres
piss around fixing a few electrical issues horn / lights

So once I have done all that and what ever else it will fail on I could still only sell it forŁ800-Ł1200 maybe.
I will brake the main bits of the car for that as it is without the work listed above done.
If I could I would keep it but I have a saff cos which is so close to being finished it hurts, and all I need is money to get it there.

Tbh its more hassle than its worth for the power hike, would be easyer to find a slightly tuned pinto or just go all out and YB it.

16v it the 2.8 lump weighs more than the power increase it gives!

might end up making it slower haha

Pictures when a car is wet can give you a false sense of condition. Still looks a shame to scrap it. Capris are going up in value
