Havent a clue what this is
it was plugged in behind the dash and hooked to a dash section below the steering column.
just cutting out alot of the loom, ie plugs and wiring to Banana pod section, full alarm, wiring to centre clocks and switches that arnt needed, just dont want to cut this out before i know what it is.
any help please?

its not the clock mate. but very similar with the plug in wiring thats needed.
as said it clips to the dash on the lower dash section drivers side, if you remove the lower section over the fuse box and below the steering column you will see it clipped backwards to the main dash assembly.

Pollen filter, how the .... ??
its a sealed block mate with a wiring terminal inset at one end, and im pretty sure no escort cossies came with pollen filters.
Rolls, sounds feasable mate, cut that bit of the loom out aswell then, lol.

everything works without this connected, found this thing when I unbuild my dash - it was not connected

i had a look at mine and it looks like a useless bit of junk so i thought it could have been a pollen filter
Come to think of it, i might have been looking at something else
Mmm maybe i should stay off that booze..
