hi thear my xr3i has got a realy weard problem with the electrics my rear lights work then dont work then 1 side wil work only. eney 1 eals had or got this prob and do u no how to sort it im thinking of puting a new loom in it but am not sure how to do it ? lol its the only thing stoping me taking her out on the road and if i dont get it sorted i think i might have to destroy it

 

Check all your earths on the rear light units failing that unplug them and have a look at the contacts and see if there corroded.

 

As suggested, almost defo the rear connectors, very very common prob on a lot of fords this is.

Clean up the little metal tabs on the bulb holder mate where the plug clips on, inside the plug its self spray with some wd40 or similar works everytime
