hey guys im new to the site. my friend matt pym off here told me to sign up to get some answers! anyway ive a cfi 1.1 96 fiesta classic as a run around and for the life of me i cant get it to start!

right so it started misfiring about 2 months ago, and the i opened the bonnet and the 2 cyl spark plug was loose! so i tightened it up but still misfiring, so i parked it up for 2 months until yesterday when i went to move it, it just about started but was misfiring very badly, and today i tried to get it going but no joy atall. i changed the spark plugs and checked there all sparking fine so theres no ignition problem. then i turned it over for a minute and took plugs out again, there was petrol on them!? so its getting fuel and spark, i then took of airbox to see if the filter was totally blocked but no still wouldnt start. eventually it started for about 10 seconds but was chugging badly and died again. so its getting spark fuel and air but still wont start!? any ideas?

sorry mate i would help but i dont know a thing about 1.1 cfi fiesta only 1.1 carb models if i find out anything useful will let u know mate
