as said above ive took my escort off the road so i can sort everythink i want to do to it....

but im after some info...engine wise!

its only a 1.3 ohv at the moment but want to change it to a 1.6 cvh! (carb)

my red mk4 had one in but was already in when i brought it..

i know i dont need much but what exactly do i need to get...for a complete conversion....

 

how many times do i tell you this lol -

engine
box - (take it you will use your own)
coil - (not sure if you can use your ohv 1??)
dizzy - you should get with engine etc
water hoses - will match up
rad - will be the same
fuel pipes - should be the same
gear linkages - should be the same

only thing i think you might need is a o/s/f engine mount as im not sure if the ohv 1 is the same having changed my last 1 from cvh to cvh lol!!

my 1.6 scort has fell through lol the fuker sold it!!

nob how long did it take you to fit yours in your mk3 estate...

1.3 out...1.6 in and running within a weekend?

 

yup could do it in a day no probz seein that you have tools etc and either a engine crane or some car ramps!!
