Right i recently bought a 6pot AP caliper of ebay as it was dirt cheap and brand new

whats the max size disc i can use under a 18" comp mo rim?

and wheres the best place to get the matching caliper?

the part number is CP3796-26s4

also what size rear brake should i go for?

The other caliper will cost you Ł773.96 plus vat!!! They are designed for a 356x28mm disc, it will probably accept bigger but you will find it hard to get a bigger disc in such a narrow width, most discs 355 or bigger are 32mm wide or more. I doubt you will find another single caliper to match it up with without buying new, I'm sure Tim would have done so if that was the case. Sell it on and buy a new kit, I'm happy to oblige.

i knew the price of a caliper new its still going to be cheaper than a complete kit

unless you can do the same kit for around Ł1000

ive found some discs and bells i think so there going ot be bought

will need your help to make some bigger rear discs for standerd cosworth calipers though

oh and the engine fitting haha (but that will be towards the end of febuary when the car is back on its wheels)

Make sure the discs are a pair and that the bells are the correct offset, you then still have to get brackets made. I reckon you have no chance of getting a kit on your car using that caliper for 1k unless you use a standard caliper on the other side..

there not urgant so i can keep my eyes open.

what can you do for me regards rear discs

i need to get my car rolling first with a functional handbrake so i can talk to you properly about having the st engine fitted

its no good atm with no wheels
