I'm Looking in to buying a XR3i, there is a problem with the car, when you put it under load it runs really rough and trys to cut out, the lad has replaced the tank, fuel pump, leeds, plugs. i'm just wondering if anyone knows what it could be?

where you based mate might know of a red h reg,but been stood,a short time

 

The next thing i'd try would be the ignition module on the side of the dizzy.
