thinking of buying a new car while the s1 is getting a new engine built over winter.got a few in mind but there used to be an advert on galaxy radio offering cheap hpi checks(about £3?)but carnt find the number to text to anyone know it.dont want to spend a fortune hpi between 4-5 car to find out there shite.

 

Tbh, the hpi checks by text don`t tell you everything.

RAC do the full check and is guaranteed too, all for a fiver...

I would of thought a fiver was a great price for peace of mind

Mind you, being a tight arse you can get 3 checks for £12 but your not going to get any cheaper...

but as said above you only get what you pay for...........
and read the discaimer which states they are not liable for giving false information as its via a third party,so if they give duff info(which they sometimes do),you cant claim from them
