Default cosworth 4x4 boost problem

hi,my friend has poorly cossie,it had a running problem which has got worse.it started as a misfire but now it has a misfire and theres no boost whatsoiever.all the pipes are on and tight.the boost gauge reads -10 when off the throttle and 0.2psi when nailing it.it drives like a diesel on 2 cylinders.i suspect a bent wastegate as the turbo is spinning and it has done a few good backfires.its a k plate sapphire which is quite tidy, but if he cant get it fixed hes going to break it as hes losing patience with it.i can see where hes coming from as its pissing me off and its not mine!

Try decreasing the plug gaps.

this is far far more serious, theres no boost whatsoever, the car can get up to say 60 mph whenn floored and the boost gauge reads 0.2 psi, then when letting it slow down in gear it reads -10 psi.

In case it has not clicked, a MISFIRE means no exhaust gasses travelling at super dooper velocities to spin the turbo.
I looked at someone's car on another site that would only boost to 2psi, the ONLY thing I did was regap the plugs and it went to 22PSI, and also got rid of the misfire.
Only a no cost suggestion, I don't care whether you take it or not.
