Not if the DRIVER isn't insured.

As said on the other site you posted this on, the site is pretty pointless

Sorry, I only got as far as this:

" Confirm that this vehicle belongs to you
I confirm that the vehicle detailed above is registered, owned or insured by either my employer or myself and is regularly driven by me. I understand it is an offence to wrongfully obtain information of this nature "

Never really thought of it the way you suggested, does it let you know the company who the policy is with?

I think its only a help incase you believe you may have bought a dodgy policy. The main reason behind the site is: Raise public awareness that the police can access information on your insurance details on the spot.

It is only UK insurers on there, a lot of people can be insured legally with non uk insurers and will be SEEN as uninsured by the plod, not one single coutry in the eu(other than uk) has supplied any details.

Well I thought it was interesting enough even if it is of limited use.

The strange thing I found is that 2 of my cars (Escort and Focus) come up with make and model info but the third (Vectra) just says it is on the database.
