Default Gotta Love CostCo

As any CostCo member will know they have a wonderful returns policy.
My business partner and I have over the years taken the piss with returns.
They always ask for the reason you have returned the goods (for a full no quibble cash refund for those non CostCo goers).
A couple of examples being returning memory cards that we couldn't sell for profit on eBay and a table football game reason being "the kids are bored of it".
But the best one ever was tonight when we both returned our 200quid Xmas trees and when asked what was the reason......I piped up "Well its fucking January!"

Oh we got our refunds btw

Bit like when i went into currys bought a ps3 and played on it for a whole wekend, decided it wasnt as good as i thought(i already have a decent pc you for playing games) so i spent about 30mins packing it all up nicely, polishing the mirror finish on the console with a lint cloth to get any traces of finger marks off it etc then took it back.

"why?"
"er my tv doesnt have a spare scart socket to plug into"
"ahh you can buy an adaptor so you can fit more things into the tv"

quicking thinking by me.........
"im already using an adaptor"
"ok then, has it been used"
"no"

I then got a full refund

Yes i was a member before i owned my own business, just a headed paper etc.

Costco is the best store ever, you can take anything back basically without reason in three years iirc I once forgot about a laptop i bought, used it for a year, bought another, then i found it a year after that (two years from the purchase date) took it back and got a full refund "because it was old"

They have changed their PC/laptop policy to 6 months...damn that reminds me I have had my Toshiba lappy nearly 5 months
Their TV policy is supposed to be changing as well

Just remembered another CostCo scam my buddy did.
He needed to print a shitload of handbills/flyers for his band so he bought a laser printer, printed his stuff and ran the inks out and took it back for a refund!
I'm addicted to the place!!!

ROFL!

Shite, need to get my laptop took back soon then!
I remember buying a breitling from costco, was Ł1300, took it back after painting in it was white all over, 8 months later, took it back and said it wasn't keeping time right half a second out in a minute, they gave me the money back!
How the fook does that place make money, everyone totally abuses that system!
Bit of a gutter about the pc/laptops at six months though

Shame you can't buy old rattly bikes and take them back eh cam

I once bought a smoothie maker from Comet and I put a fruit with a stone in it and it smashed it to pieces, I took it back and my girlfriend didn't think I would get away with it. I told them it had never been used and when they inspected it I hadn't cleaned it, was full of apple, oranges etc.

Lady: You know what this means don't you?

Me: Someone in the back got hungry?

Lady: Go and pick another one,

Me: It's already in the car.

Benni.

Bought a 28" Panasonic CRT TV from them.

Couple of years later, a refund for the Ł600, walked back round and bought an LCD.
