Following on from the other thread about the rolling road day / piss up in Glasgow I thought I would start another one with a few more details.

The main events that I think most folks want to include are the rolling road day at AVA, the Time Attack super battle and the West of Scotland RS owners club regional day.

Nothing is set in stone so we can always play it by ear during the weekend and can hopefully please everyone by taking a bit of track, sometime at the rolling road and a look round AVA for those who havent been before , a meal and a few drinks( ) and even some bufty stuff on the sunday at the show.


Events taking place across the weekend are as follows.

Friday the 16th of May
5pm-9pm Scottish Old school escorts track nite @ Knockhill(spectating only at the moment)

Saturday the 17th of May
9am Time Attack at Knockhill
12 pm onwards Rolling road day @ AVA.
6pm onwards,Meal and Drinks in Glasgow

Sunday the 18th of May
sees the Time Attack and drifting at Knockhill oor the WOSRSC regional day in Murkirk.
Both of the events on sunday are all day so we could easily do both etc?

Payment for the rolling road day is now being taken at 25 for 2wd and 30 for 4wd.

As for hotels fo the Sat nite I think the plan is to get everyone in the same place and leave the cars under lock and key at AVA.

Anyone is free to tag along for the whole weekend or any small part

I'm defo up for watching the rolling road and then drinks and a meal in Glasgow. Sunday I'll prob be at the RSOC show. So count me in!

ah fuck,id have been well up for it for the crack even thought im not drivng a ford atm but im at gatecrasher summer soundsystem the weekend after

Wont put a car on at the RR day but ill go for the crack.

We having a convoy from AVA to Time Attack/Drifting on the sunday Euan? If so ill meet you lot at AVA in the morning as ill be home on sat night as i live localish.

Im booked on the SOSE track night but cant make any of the other events as have kids and dogs at home to look after so can only manage to come down for the track night then back home after it

Sat and Sun sounds like will be good though.

 

I will only make the rsoc day mate

 

Will probably head to the rolling road(although the car will still be in the garage) and quite possibly the nite out! No sure about the Sunday yet though but will let you know mate!

am up for this too euan, will put in for time off work so should be able to go full weekend too.....on the sat, the time attack isnt on until the afternoon, impreza drivers club have track in morning, so you could maybe include some track time as well if anyone wants to book a space........

Should be ok for saturday and sunday euan.

 

Does Knockhill have any sort of noise limit ? i dont think it does so would be ideal for the guys that have to run lower boost at most of the tracks down south if they can get some track time.

 

Pretty positive that it dosen't have any limits!

I really need to pull my finger out and sort the car out' And still need to get it run in and maped yet. . So even if its not done me and the Mrs will still come for the whole weekend. How much for the hotels Euan.

 

sure i read somewhere that there are offers on with travelodge if booked before 1st march??if not sure euan would put you up

hopefully mines will be run in and mapped by then also and on track at KH on the sat....
