since fitting the ap 4 pot 330mm front brake set up and the 4x4 300mm rear conversion,ive been gradually buying up bits to go on the car this year

im going to be puting a freshly ported and polished head on the car

a1 alloy fuel rail(aeroquiped)

ive just fitted a large 3 port ggr breather,and sold the baileys

ive got ggr pas tank

fitted the ggr header and swirl,again sold the baileys

the greys are going due to maxing out at over 7000rpm

bought 83lb siemens

pace alloy rad

my modded esco airbox is getting proper cold air feed from front of car(ducted)

full new polybushing

got new back lights (in good nick)

the clear ones i modified red will be going(like the standard look)

rs500 lower real spoiler(brand new in packet)

new moonstone whaletail(the paint on mine is bad)

got some gauges to go in centre vent ,racetec same as the boost/oil pressure ones i have where the clock normally sits

ava spec sweedish inlet,and bigger throttle

when i do the head il be keeping the longstuds and useing another cometic head gasket

im still in 2 minds weather to send my chip back to stu for remaping or just buy a mappable managment and sell my l8 and chip

 

 

I spoke to alan about management systems for you yesterday col and he did say that the autronic has far more adjustment than the collins making setting idle alot easier etc.

Maybe worth a look at some of the omex systems too?

as for time it will be ready for crail in march mate

 

Good mate looks like all our cars might make it out to the same place , first time in a long time.New cam cover looks prity cool, along with the rest of the bits, has your car to go into ava for the inlet or is Tom just going to copy Euans.

 

Now that will be nice to see.

I would go for a programable system Col and there is no reason it shouldnt make 400 the way it sits.

where did you get the rocker cover?

 

i lilke the rocker never seen one like that before!

 

ive been after a new rocker after doing away with baileys breather and wanting an undrilled one

everyones done the flag thing,wanted something diffrent

got it on ebay,just been painted

think it will look ok,lets just hope it doesnt give everyone else the idea

Col Alan will be playing about with my managment this week to sort a running in map, then hopefully a full map within the next month so will have more an idea of what it can do. As Euan says Autronics does have more features for the idle , and with the new plenums not running a iscv they may be needed will have to wait and see.

 

will get proper pics up this week once its all back together,and on the trailer for ava hopefully

im going to phone alan tomorrow,now hes back his holidays,but i dont think the car will be finished until end of week

only thing waiting on now is some ggr adaptors for the breather

and the ecu arriving
