I would use vibra technics engine mounts with a standard gearbox mount for a road car, as otherwise if you use an uprated gearbox mount you get alot of cabin noise from the gearbox.

hello

Ive got collins engine mounts with a genuine ford gearbox mount. Dont see the need that much for an uprated gearbox mount but engine mounts are a must and Collins ones are excellent

As above, I went for the Vibratech & they are a bit harsh. Never tried the Collins ones but heard good things.

I've got Vibratech engine and gearbox mounts Dont see why so many people say you shouldnt get the gearbox one, how many of you have actually tried... Noise? It's not like its silent anyway...

On a straight cut box I can understand it, but with the standard box I really dont see the problem
