Well after deciding i wanted a nice little car

i bought this in late july after i decided to call it a day ith the scort
Ford fiesta 1.3 endura lx No power steering basic model
it was in a bit of a state at first
heres some pics when i first got her.





got a set of trims

now i got some bits from the escort like white clocks, rs2000 steering wheel ect ect and fitted them in the same week i got the car. Also fitted my headunit. Decided to clean it and mint it up


i then purchased a ghia front grill and corsa c side indicators

then i decided to colorcode the mirrors, came out mint

i then bought thease (totaly wish i hadent now!)




was on for about 40 minutes

then it was time to give it a good going over






trial fitted fogs

and escort gti skirts

it got near mot time and had to lose the rear wiper as it wasent working

got a new grill, dident like it that much so sold it, kin of regret this alittle now.

then i got the ghia walnut dash trim.



fitted pedals which were later removed

got xeons

then got this beauty, it was blue at first, so i sprayed it up.

then i got lexus rear lights, which i later removed as wasent keen on them.


i also got black projector headlights which i really like, fitted xeon bulb to them aswell plus+ silvertecs

 

i fitted my laguna splitter on christmas day lol


then sorted the door catch thing, fiesta ones always go

then got busy colorcoding doorhandles






Then i finally got hold of what i was after the most Colorcoded bumpers.






bought brand new boot handel ready to paint. also bought brand new
FIESTA LX badges from ford




,

then i decided to go look for some alloys, i wanted the escort gti ones,
but when i went in a breakers and saw thease, i just had to have em for the price they were with 4 mint tires.




I had trouble with a leak

sorted now,

 

on the 11th of this month i had my driving test and failed ,
after reeboking i continued to look for more bits, went to a scrappy nd got the full interior out of an escort ghia, ( i wanted this in my escort lol)
the fronts went in fine, but the backs dident, so had to remove the fabric and put over the fiesta foam to fit, then made brakets up for the bottom.

Theres alot of things i missed like gearknobs stickers taxdisk holders airfresiners having new keys cut, dident think it was irelivent.



So after all the time and money, i'm left with this little gem.
Had about 6/7 month now, really pleased with the car

I didnt like the big alloys either, the design or the size, looked too big for a fiesta, well done for the removing the rear lights aswell.

You need to lower it and get a nice shiney 3" exhaust on there 4" would probably look too big on a fiesta.

Ya know what i think gaz it looks sweet and im glad you learned to modify the right way this time which will also prove the escort haters wrong, Theres nothing bad they can say about this matey

looks pretty tidy now

have a go at dismantling the grill and painting the silvery bit behind the clear plastic black, so it then matches the angel eyes.

Also, have you added air con, or was it just the car you had it out of had air con?

 

youve learned a lot and it shows this is looking nice and tidy now

however, whilst youve been busy adding weight and add ones to your car,
i went a slightly different route with mine

that scratch dont look too bad mate, i reckon t cut would make is almost unnoticable

 

yeah looks way better

you have got further with this one in such a short time than you did with your escort

 

just needs a filter and a 3" inward rolled back box now,

finish it off nice.

 

oh, and for your own reference, stand factory red line on those 1.3's is 5600rpm,
so dont be revving it to far cus you will fuck it, my mate popped his at 6000rpm

 

very god only left a set of coilovers to drop and a puma 1.7 engine ;P

 

looks much better than the estate, have you still got the skirts and laguna spliiter i think they would look good on there

 

yeah thats what i intend to do

but the endura engines sound shit standerd lol as you know
is there anyway to quiet it down abit,

i.m currently redoing the boot handle

 

you can adjust the tapets, and turn the radio up,

pretty sure these rattled from factory lol,

drilling holes in the bottom of the air box adds a surprisingly fruity grunty noise to it, and gives a little bit more throttle respnse.

 

i would like to put a puma engine on mine but in portugal is difficult to found one

Mate this loosk really good, fit the leguna splitter and gti skirts will look cracking and a set of gti wheels will finish it off.

 

its true I've alredy done but ive cut the base of the box and fit a pipercross panel filter

 

 

carn't find the other fucking fog connecter, ah well fuck it.

and snaped a pic of blue led dials, had thease in my escort aswell

well the old lights came back and i somked them look much better, so did the grill


got heated screen switch and fog ones.

someone decided to be a cunt and kick one off


old mirror back which is crap cause the paint messed up, my old manuel one,
so i thought id have a play and dismanteled both electric and normal mirror tranferd over and wallah its fixed


decided to debadge the lx off

cool spoiler ;P how did you fit the spoiler?

 

piece of pe mate, line holes up in card, place on boot cut car to shape of boot line spoiler up how you want it, cut card more if nessicery when your happy with it, drill 2 holes ether side of boot lid, then smoothen them up with wet and dry, then touch them up with a touchup brush then used alittle laqure then some water based silicon, then tst fit your spoiler, if happy with the result just bolt it on, job done, takes about an hour or so to do, i'd recomend a hand. i did it on my own.

Hi gary, car looks very nice now. id personally leave the bodywork and exterior as its as nice as you'll ever get it without going ott and ruining it. its clean and subtle so leave it as.

id try and fir front electric windows if possible and when you save up for the 1.7 puma engine, fit power steering at the same time.

 

looks nice shame sum little wanker wonts to keep damaging it loads of people like that live by me an if u got summat betta than them or they cant have they do the same gud look wiv the rest anyway and keep it simple and tidy

cheers mate, thought about electric front windows and central locking but dunno if i can be botherd wireing it all up as am crap with electrics.
