its not like that now, it was on ebay a couple of weeks ago as a unfinished
project it had been converted to rwd cossie power

 

look even better minus the spoiler and stickers..

 

mjs car, got my nitrous fitted on my RS and 200 by them. Squint and aaron are the brothers who I think built this.
Also had a rear engined blue S2 which I think got wrapped around a lamp post.

The good old days lol.

And different exhaust setup

 

the colour and exhaust just make it stand out even more though!

 

i remember squint turning up at the pod in his blue one, wearing his ear defenders a good few years back, tho the blue one was road legal, did the green twin engine one make it on the road???

 

god knows but I bet the transmission/linkage part of that conversion was fun.

Yeah I remember seeing this in one of the Mags and seeing it in the metal up the pod, at Ultimate street Car i think, some years back. I was in my late teens at the time and thought it was the mutts nuts!

What's the story with it now??

For all the power and potential this car had did it actually record any times back in the day?

 

would look kool in matt black, inside in gloss black and on dish wheels!!

obviously as i said above, without spoiler and stickers!

 

think it ran 11's with 120 terminals at pod although it was along while ago so quite impressive. Was about the same time as the twin engined R5.

 

think he rapted the blue one up and then built the green one

yes at the time the 21 yr old did make this twin turbod rs road legal they had 2 1.6 litre turbocharged cvh rs turbo engines. this car had standard gearboxes with LSDs moddified exhaust with the silencer removed, hydraulic clutch pedel amd the boost running at 21 psi..avo adjustable shocks and spring all round. one off track control arms on the rear.
he did have the blue s2 but he destroid that after hitting a lap post. aaron squint and his dad buil this car in a impressive 3 weeks !
it was a 3door escort shell but they removed the rear section ov the roof and wealded in a orion boot lid. thats all i have on it. any more pics????

 

i just found that this 400 bhp savaged escort rs packed with 2 tweaked escort turbo lumps back in the day (2000) blasted from 0-60 in a impressive 4.8 secs

 

Remember this from a Mag features a while back..
It looks the B**LOX.

 

some FWD RS Turbos with far less power have been timed faster tho

 

its horrid

 

it was slow,bad set p getting the two engines trying to go together.the blue one werent that quick either.

 

havnt seen pics of that for years

 

Remember seeing it at Donington (i think) years ago and it wasnt very impressive then! Looks fucking awful aswell!

 

i appreciate the work put into it but it does look terrible, & cant imagine it beating a 400bhp single engined car

 

i didnt think the green one made the road as the rear section wasnt welded good enuff,ended up sitting in my mates garden coz it was to much work!!
