ive got myself a s1 kit but i wan to see some pics of them fitted as i know they need modifiying to make fit properly and any tips and advice would be nice too thanks billy

 

you just cut off the front and rear spats where they meet the bumpers.

 

yeah theyve already been done as there on a mk4 now but do they not sit proud of the bumpers if that makes sence?

when i put the s1 kit on my estate i bonded parts onto my bumpers then filled and smoothed them off so that the bumpers sat flush with the arches







they dont show that much sorry but hopefully will give you a bit of an idea

 

hears my old cab with one on.
i thought mine sat out abit far from the bumper so i added the rs skirt whitch looked better.

 

combi van man is that radiant red sierra a cossie rep?

 

mine from about 6-7yrs ago.

Tips are either get a really really competant bodyshop to do it, difference between your average job, and a factory finish. OR spend hours doing it, do it right and take your time.

just tuck them in a bit where you screw it. my bumper wasn't bolted on properly at the time but I got mine perfect after a couple of goes.



The proper way to do it though is to give the kit something to flow into...

 

hear is one that i have found i really like the s2 with the s1 arches looks mean!

thanks for all the pics and tips everyone, as for fitting them i will be doing it myself as i dont like apying other people and i have a saturday job in a bodyshop m ycabriolet has the rs accesory rear skirt and i want the front one and you say adding that made it sit flush combi van man?
