sean, you get chips for the ignition ECU which more or lss just removes the boost limit (in simple terms) as a std ERST will hit overboost at 10psi

Personally I would take it to Ahmed himself at Grove Garage, at least you KNOW it's gonna be the real thing and not a copy

That's if you deffinitely want an Ahmed chip...........there are other very good options though, others I would use are MSD in Blackpool(which would be my first choice personally) & Karl Norris in Derby area (I think?) but they both may be a bit far from you?

Nope it's because I've had an Ahmed chip & I've also had an MSD chip & preferred the MSD one

wouldn't recommend ab chips
had an ahmed bayjoo chip in my escort power was 195@wheels@17psi
but boost just came in with a bang and it could only rev to just over 5k, car wasn't really driveable either, got an AVA chip and power was increased to 208@wheels runnin 17psi ,car was much more driveable as boost came in gradually got fuel ecu mod after that to let it rev to 7200 not had it rr since
think it only cost me Ł180 plus vat for chip and Ł200 plus vat for fuel mod
