hello mates. ı m from Turkey. ı ve got a 98 escort mk7 1.6 16V zetec (CFİ)saloon(orion) and i m thinking to mod it. i ve got some idea such as change the engine to mondeo MK2 2.0 and mod new engine. can i do it?? is it possible?? what do i neet for it??

and ofcourse i have to make it safety so Can i turn back breaks to disk breaks. where can i find coılover or suspencıon system for my car and break system... Thank you for your helps

Swap to the 2 ltr engine from a mk 1 Mondeo, far easier. You will need to keep the waterpump and sump from your 1.6.

What do you think about rear break sistem. do you think that it is enough?? is it good idea to change it to disk break sistem???

 

Leave the rear brakes well alone, they are more than up to the job.

Hi,
I have still have this car but due to Turkish otomotive rules I can't swap 2.0L engine to 1.6L.
If I have 1.8 engine I could swap 2.0L.
anyway, I still do some thing to this engine and I decided to do CAI system, full exhaust system(with out cat) and headers.
for exhaust system I gonna use straight tube but for the efficient performance which size tube I have to use?? 51mm or ??
for the headers which one is the best for street drive 4-2-1 or 4-1??
this car is not going to be track day car.
also you could give me some idea to make my car.
