I was expecting a debate on why use SRF.......

Steve
I used it in the cossie with no issues, although the last trip to bedford had the fluid boiling in the resevoir. Still worked fine though.

Also depends on the cars weight, how hard you use them, brake size, cooling etc as to what you an get away with

I think to spend a relatively small amount extra on an area like brakes, to achieve a higher safety margin, is no bad thing.

Are you already on synthetic fluid Steve ?

If not then I guess you will need more than 1lt to do a full flush change and top up

ok tim, please check

tony, empty lines as i just ran them inside.

i only have one line to rear mind, and i 99% sure i didn't need more than a litre, infact i'm sure i only need around 500ml

if i need more than a litre, i'll buy more, but i'd rather do that, then spend 70 and not need it

Ok but with new lines, remember the leak potential could theoretically be twice as high on all joints until its tested Each pump of the pedal will be about £3.50 lol

Good price (delivered) Tim

Steve
I'll carry on.....

SRF is HIGHLY Hydroscopic, which means it takes on water MUCH faster than other fluids. The result is that you should fully replace it every 6-12 months MAXIMUM.

I'd use Castrol Response Super DOT 4, unless you really are hammering your brakes (heavy car etc)......
