as above apprantly its had a new stepper motor and just had a new vac unit, seams to run fine when warm but doing my head in when its cold just keeps stalling every time you take you foot off the gas, any help much appreciated, cheers matt

 

maf unit? air leak or icv unit.

 

Check lamda switch speed.

we use to replace the complete throttle pot and then programme in new parameters into the ecu

 

is it misfiring from cold start ?

I thought these engines could suffer from sticking valves

 

The engines suffer from being renault that is enough!!
