Just wondered if anyone knew of websites that shown peoples top scores etc on that thing, or whatnot.

Been having a seriously gypsyversuspolac-tastic night of it on one of them, and wondered what was seriously good etc.

 

theres one in the pub i work, highest ive seen was about 820 or so.

theyre such a cunt though, its ALL about technique i recon. its definatly not random because the same people were getting the high scores time after time. i had a go, first go was a fairly pansy punch and got 750 something, the second one i fucking SMASHED the bastard and only got like 500 odd wtf?!

gaff of the pub recons the bloke he rents it off gets 900s everytime and aint that big, so must be a knack to it.

 

The one in Ibiza I got 870ish

Thats the thing, top score possible is 999, all these big gypsys and polish geezers were on it all night and well impressed with their high 700s and 800s, and one of em (gypsy geezer with tattoos all over his skinhead) was hitting consistant low 900s.
Them my mate does it and got 956 twice in a row, and over 950 the next two times too, going striaght to to the top of the high score thing and pissing what they did, they was not happy.

Cant work out the technique tho, its not about following through and putting your weight in to it thats for sure, as they was all trying that, even taking run ups etc, wheras my mate just stands right next to it and belts it.

I think genuinley the technique is simply having a fucking hard punch, there is no fancy way.

The one in moda xmas eve some skinny kid hit a 980 didnt see anyone get near that most the night even these big boucers tried..

The technique is to have a fucking hard punch and being able to punch properly. Its like anything, whether they've been trained or not, some people are natural at some things.

Unfortunate for the poor cunt who pisses them off though!

 

Speed at which you hit it - not how "hard" - so a little guy usually has the advantage.

 

Where you hit the ball matters- years ago they had a target on them..


Be carefull though the one in Sports cafe in brum has a chip out of the back plate of it and my knuckle has only really just recovered- 3 and half months later


Low to mid 900's is usually a good score... higher than that I've not seen.

Technique is important- I've seen big lads take run ups and all sorts... but I preffer to do a 1 step then punch and with a few quids you can get power and accuracy without looking like a tit when you floor yourself on the wall behind the machine.

I had a go sober at the Superbowl in Sheffield and got 920 odd 1st time, 960 something second time then later that night (after a skinfull) 790 and a fractured scaphoid bone the third time trying a different technique!
Same night seen this petite teenage lassy score 999
Later found out she was rated top ten in the UK at kickboxing.
Deffo down to technique.
Also seen this pissed Irish fuckwit stick the nut on one at Skeg Vegas years ago. Cant remember his score but he was in a right state after nutting it about 20 times!

On holiday my mate was hitting constant mid-high 900s. We had a bet with 20 Scottish guys, pretty big fellas who couldnt hit higher

Defo some technique, as I hit higher than a few of my mates who i KNOW are much stronger than me i.e. Lift more in the gym, cane me at arm wrestling etc...

Always good for entertainment though, my mate got hustled like a bitch by some guy pretending he could only hit 600s and trying to make people bet. then he pulled out a 990

 

ive hit an 770 with my left hand which i think was ok.

when i punch i always left punch first then follow through with my right which has more power, which is kinda hard to do on a machine where you can only hit it once!

my mate hit one of the ones thats always down except for when you hit it, was walking past and lamped it not realising no one had paid, thing stayed static, he fucked his hand up, we laughed!

each machine is different to as the sensors become knackered etc,

usually 900's is a decent score

 

I thought it must be down to speed or something as i can get consistant 960's when we went to magaluff last year with work. I was beating ex army and royal marines who work with me and i'm quite skinny.

You have to hit it straight on, bang in the middle, otherwise it absorbs a fair chunk of the power.

Its so funny when your out and see all these big daft blokes trying to monopolise the machines, then one smaller guy comes up and shows them up infront of the ladies.

Just like in real life fights, its not how big you are, its all down to technique, although most big people seem to assume otherwise. Its usually the crazy small guy who wins everytime.

I did a jumping kick on one at the fairground at last years billing show and it span round so many times the needle just jammed in place where it ended up, some big bloke came up a few minutes later and went to his little boy "watch how good daddy is at this" and had a go, the needle just twitched slightly and stayed where it was as it had jammed so badly, and he looked a proper cunt, it was fucking hilarious

Not sure if thats an issue on the digi ones or not though, but id imagine its equally possible for them to get damaged and start reading wrong, its like they are calibrated properly on a regular basis im sure, so I would think that comparing between different machines is totally pointless, even more so than 2 different sets of rollers.

Its definately true about technique though, my mate used to bounce at a bowling alley that had one, and by hitting it in the right place he could max it out with not much more than a big jab, where as blokes who im sure were hitting it a lot harder werent doing so.

 

When I went to Malia I spent a LOT of time on these, even playing against people for money. Got 999 loads of times, never got below a 950 on ANY machine (and I must have gone on 30 different ones minimum and probably had over 300+ goes), except when I tried nutting one

That is when I was doing thai boxing though and also could bench 140kg at the time so fairly strong. It is a LOT about technique though.

I ended up fracturing my hand and then going out in agony the next day, getting totally hammered, got into proper hero mode and bet 50 euro's against some dutch guys. I won but was almost on the floor with pain


I've tried to buy these and konami fighting mania before but with no luck.

 

as said,every machine is different,absolute mega bucks they make for bar owners though,almost evry bar in the bigg market has one

 

lol, nearly got in a fight at the weekend cus of one of these, big meat head guy was showing of infront of his mates, had a best of 833, then i chucked a pound in it, 802, 818 and then on my final go 925! they big guy was not impressed and even wanted to bet £100 quid that he could kick the shit out of me

 

spining kicks tend to send them into spasms, there aer a few guys round my neck of the woods who used to use them specificly for their kicks and they would go round and round and round

in which case there are several round this neck of the woods that are like that, there's one in park royal and another in feltham, but the one by heathrow doesn't as it's (as far as i am aware) just a bowling alley
