Is it NTL or Virgin now Tiff......reason I ask is that I know they've been having issues over the past few weeks that causes exactly the same symptoms as you are experiencing!!

I only usually get problems with Virgin around this time of night.... usually end up copying any post I make cos the first one never gets through... always works second time though... very wierd.

Having said that.... have wireless on the lap top and the dongle's plugged into the pc.... never been able to get onto the internet with the PC... hence its sat in the cupboard... and my hate of laptop keyboards has been overcome by HAVING TO USE IT!

I've had loads of problems lately with NTL/Virgin, very slow response, sometimes no response.

And the dirty robbin fookers used to have a Status Line you could ring for free that would play a recorded message of known problems.

Now you have to ring some Gupta (real name John) in india who talks shite and holds the call up for as long as possible just to tell you there is a fault and they are working on it.... all the time making money for that cnut Branson.

NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS ARE :-

i) Get rid of Virgin TV/ Broadband and get something cheaper

ii) Ditch Lloyds TSB for my business bank and move to HSBC for 18 months free business banking...

iii) Loose some weight

iv) stop being polite to time wasting cnuts from foreign lands who havent got two pennies to rub together....
