reason im asking this is as im looking to buy some leather trim from a mk4 escort but would like to fit the door cards so therefore would like to see whats involved in making it fit. am i right in finking the handles are in different places so would require either cutting and a bit of metal in place? would that be it? cheers

 

mate its not just that, they wont fit with the mk3 dash due to the design where the door car rests against the dash

mk3 will fit mk4 but not the other way

told you i been playing with escorts for years

 

oh damn , they're are bloody really well done door cards too
so looks like door cards will be sold , cheers mate

 

or mod the sides of the dash so it dont catch using old door cards as guides adn flock the dash to cover the mod at the sides as theres a chance the mk3 dash is cracked anyway

 

my dash wont crack, its the crap 1.1 dash lol, prob get new ones trimmed at a later date

 

then mod the dash and get it flocked !!!

dash dont bother me, though i think it will look flocked with full cream leather and red piping, think i'l proberly get it done down the line but i need to concentrate on getting it running 1st, im only getting the trim as it came up at a good price
