Default OK Ive decided!

Right. Water pump went on the runabout today so its time for a change!

After a discussion with my missus (Our runabout is hers really! ) we are gonna get one of these......

Lupo GTI.

Always liked these things. The good news is that I've persuaded her to let me have a mess about with it.
Ive decided to properly "Euro" the thing.

First things on the list are these beauties!!
Gonna get the smallest width tyres poss for a super big stretch on the side walls too.

Zender Turbos
Then its slam time and a bit of smoothing action and it should be about there!
Couple of pic to give you an idea what im going for..

Never done Euro before, so any help, ideas links etc along the way will be very kindly recieved!

Looks great mate.
What's the damage on one of these nowadays and performance, etc?

My missus likes these but can't afford to sell the clio to replace it as these were too expensive last time we looked into it - and not as fast.

You can get a good one for 5K ish. 125bhp, not FAST, but fairly quick (enough for her anyway! ) They handle very well apparently.

I just think they look fuckin wicked slammed and smoothed. There is a black one round our way and every time i see it i start to drool!
Sliver for me i think. Zenders are going either dimond cut or matt black

Might not be a good idea on having stretched tyres on a runabout, It wont take much for a tyre to come off

Do like Euro though

Just been looking on autotrader. Nice red one but with 100k+ on it.
Two other possibilities; one black one silver with similar 56/57k miles for under Ł5k - both with L*UPO reg's.

Btw, my missus isn't keen on the carbon bonnet, but loves the wheels.

That looks awful now mate. Way too big/long for the car.

Lupo = small? How small. I'm 6'4" - would I fit in one ok regarding head & leg room? Got to be bigger than a 205 or old shape clio (for example - I'm assuming most people have been in a 205 or clio at some time)

Right. Change of plan with the wheels!

Just bought a set of these..

Porsche Design 90's 7"fronts and 8" for the back.

Once referbed should look like this.....

90% sure going polished but may polish the rim and do centres in anthracite? Opinions?

Here is a pic what they would look like.....

Let me know your thoughts.
Cheers.
