hello there guys well been on the forum for nearly a year now and havnt put up my rebuild its on fiesta turbo.com iam mostly on that but starting to get on here more offtin so here goes well it all started out as a mk3.5 shell i was gawna do but managed to pic up a decent turbo shell in the summer so heres sum pics of whats been dun so far got full weld in cage by the roll centre escort header tank and focus washer bottle battery sunk in the boot floor sunroof takin away and replaced with ford non sunroof skin ive got 2 brand new quarters , wings front and back panel a post , 5 rs2000 5spokes few swistches ect so far also made up sum floor mats and stuff and powder coated them

wee update snapped this scorpion 4 inch exust with spark plug welded inside if you want to use a flamer kit dont think i will but allways handy to have heres what it was like when i got it caked in tar and oil and paint or glue gave it a quick clean wif thinnes then had to sand the full thing and polished it up

also made su checker plate mats up and powder coated them







and powder coated pedals as well and a navigators foot rest



also piked up 5 rs 2000 alloys i also refurb all them back to bare alloy them primed full wheels and are ready to paint this week piked up another 4 centre caps too so av got 8 now 5 for the wheels and 3 spare























and heres the centre caps painted wheels are going graphite grey





also got 2 new wings 2 new quarters 2 new sills and a new a post will get pics up soon more to come this week waiting on beiges , buckets , and a few switches ect

small update got sum switches in finished off my wheels aw my panels came and aye redun my floor mats and foot rest in textured powder just to be a wee bit diff and fitted ma beiges aswell :P heres sum pics















































another wee update cleaned up my door cards theve been modified to fit around the cage then wraped in black leather vinyl with blue stichen and also spent a day getting one of my bonnets absalutly mint outside and underneith got new sills a post 2 wings 2 quarter panels and a cuple random pics of my runaround :P




































well another update finally got the car up to my work so no time was wasted got the front end off it the full thing power washed inside and out and a good check looks quite clean compared to some others ive seen will be even better when i get it sand blasted and a load of fresh panels here yees go :P

 

well troopers me and a few mates wer up a few nights this week working on the car we got the 2 quarters off a door bonner tailgate all the glass good few bits rust treated working like fuk to sum dimensional tunes as seen on the ipod my buckets for now arrived also and most of the bodykit is ready for primer































































and a wee random of tonys wheel freshly out the oven matt black looks shinny cause it was still warm

awright gadget mate how yoo getting on you got any new fords ? the wee cars coming on now i cant get the bottom door pin out on the drivers door am off to b and q today to pic up m cans of gas to get sum heat in it them am going to prep both doors finish off the front bumper were you planning to use the mcrallying front splitter cause i noticed the end caps had been cut off so ill need to sort out a splitter before thats ready for primer as for the shell need tae get the sills and that part of the a post off then full things getting sandblasted then a nice coat of etchy then on with the new panels plus need tae chop my mk3.5 apart for bit of floor and rear strut ect but should hopefully be dun end of feb hopefully still a lot of welding to do as iam going to stich weld the full lot next buys are petrol tank front mount and large radiator with fans

No mate, the end caps were chopped off the bumper because i was going to use a Renault Espace or Laguna splitter but use the full length like i did on my old fiesta, just to give the front bumper a bit more depth without putting a huge lip on the front

 

mmmm iam wondering what to do because i think the mc rally splitter looks ok but it is a bit chunky what abt the vr6 one painted and moulded in ?

 

Well got stuck in over the weekend guys and got the 2 sills off the last bits of quarter petrol tank out that damn drivers door check out the state of it also got sum panels mocked up front bumper tidied up still need a splitter waiting on a rear panel coming and i need to sort out a mig or get mine fixed hopefully should be getting blasted mid week as well and ll get a good coat of etchy over the thing but shes coming on

cheers mate ow and if yous are wondering i was 100percent sure my quarters were the full ones and i cut the old ones there then when i brung the panels over i realised they wer only half quarters hahahah but no problem ill just cut the posts off my mk3.5 shell and place them in no one will tel the diffirence

well guys got a wee update going back up to the garage the day so should have some more pics later on so here goes started naking a support for the seats and cleaned up some rust fixed the fukin mistakes i made when a chopd the old rear quarters thinking i had the full quarters only to discover they were halfs hahaha :P so chopd my red mk3.5 up cleaned up the front struts for welding got that bit of apost in place few pics of wee tonys brief i powder the wheels for him here yoos go :P

well lads got a wee update chopped the donercar up for bits got sum rust cut out and holes filled in got all the bolt on parts ready for another coat of primer and cant wait any longer so ive started scraping the under seal off to make sand blasting a tad easier also piked up sum bonnet and boot catches couple pics of my mates stockey lol modified a strut brace to suit the cage

 

small update started takin underneith back to bare metal till we get the sand pot sorteed out and stregthin up the inner sills so ive bent sum 3mm plates up that are the same height as the box frame the cage sits on heres sum pics

 

well bought a mc rallying front spliter off someone so heres sum pics had to split it from the old bumper and dun away with the mcr logo

small update primed the arches side skirts back bumper tailgate and spoiler again started stitch welding the shell aswell and had a fuk about with the front bumper again

 

well bought a mc rallying front spliter off someone so heres sum pics had to split it from the old bumper and dun away with the mcr logo

 

well was fuking about with a few things the got the old hole where the petrol ca was filled up more of undernith squared up the 1st skim of fiberglass and the splitter moulded on the front bumper 3mm back inner sill plates in place was working away and turned round and wee lewis wasny there looked about for ages only to find him hiding from doing work up on the roof holding us back wits happenin man ! aw aye and a seen a sheep the other day on the road so a took a picture to show use what a sheep fae newmains looks like

 

well got all the suspension off and the car up on stands to get more of the underneith cleaned also made up a wee trolly for it the other day out sum scrap square bars and 4 wheels only took half an hour and it works a treat should i smooth the welds around the cage aswell ano iam takin part of the weld of but in that cross section its been welded underneith and i ran a weld over it again so i can buff it smooth what do use think smooth or welded ?

 

well small update came home from work to find sum goodies arrived rare smoked front indicaters same ones as my back smoked ones took me 6 months 2 find them haha also sum bonnet pins and tailgate springs tipd the car on its side and gave it a coat of etchy the bits u see thats dark are the bits thts still to be sanded back to bare metal the rest is all dun was hoping to start sticth welding 2nite but my damn welders out of gas so thts on hold til i get sum gas 2morro also took a wee pic to give use an idea of what the front bumper will be like fitsss likeeee aaaaa gloveee !

well small update got the underside in primer and started on seam welding the struts and gave ma bumper a coat of primer to see how its coming on still needs sum work but ill get it sorteed am doing a standard bumper aswell cause am growing out of the mc rallying one but will be good to chop and change cause av got another bonner witch has been cut to the 1st swede line to allow more air flow going up 2morro so hopefully get a good bit dun few holes i need to place in and gawna get all the suspension stuff powder coated

 

well got another update got loads stripped down and partly cleaned for to be powder coated after ive blasted them got skirts bumpers arches tailgate spoiler all flatted primed the wing mirrors , insides of the doors and tailgate there was no gas left in the welder so didnt get the holes dun put sum pics up of whats to be sorteed and a few randoms of ma mate painting the front of his merc

 

well small update started powder coating sum bits and bobs strut brace and that dun few bits to the shell cut out shitey bits ae rust ready for fresh metal got sum reges made and cut them down pure jailbait what ones should i go for bike size or standard not had tht much time to get working on her need sum gas for the mig and were moving to west calder few pics of the new premises ill get sum pics of everything in it lot more space and nice clean new building pic ae ma mates merc he painted his merc and got a set ae rims for it mates thot it would be funny to make a bomb then rap rags round there heids daftys

 

small update dun some more seam welding to the car welded a few holes up and lated them got a new bumper and cut it out how i want it to look growing out of the whole intercooler in yer face type thing am stil gawna finish the old bumper and just leave it so i can swap and change plus got a wee escort van am gawna stik a gti front bumper on it escort estate rear bumper and maybe a set of arches and skirts n a set off wheels a needs pulled on the jig but ill get it sorteed gawney fire jet black on it tae also rover turbo manifold iam going to cut off the end flange and wel the zetec one on

 

Well folks massive update this week with 2 new projects on the go 1st is a wee escort van a got tae get me tae work its ex securicor aircon ect oringnaly only had a key to start it and its been hut at the back whitch will need pulled on the jig and a new rear panel inside was black with paint and shite with 2 diffrent seats and the dash all paint so i fittted 2 new doors new barrel lock central locking electric windows cd player ipod docker new dash and panels 2 new seats will be gettin pulled wen i cum back my hoildays also got a gti front bumper with fogs laguna splitter escort estate rear bumper and sideskirts iam going to drop it and stick a set of escos wheels on it and paint it black gloss.

2nd new project fiesta cosworth ex mike howell rally car converted to accept 2wd or 4wd full cage , fully seam welded , space framed , carbon fibre front end rear end bonnet tailgate and doors as well as sides perspex windows 6 15 race wheels with sum slicks this will be getting stripped nd blasted then coat of etchy anzd primer then will be getting stored for a while till i finish my 2.1 zetec turbo but oventually iam hoping to by a decent soec sierra cossy and swap all the running gear and ct over and might send the shell down to andy at ag motorsports to replace a few bits and plate the floor and fix the rear turrets and make me a diff mount coming from the cage started to take sum of the stikers off will finish that 2morro

also got a good bit dun on the zetec turbo few more plates welded in sum more seam welding and wee pic of a set of porche rims a powder coated and sturt nicols lorry trim and battery box was aw dented in and the plastic was warped so a use a hot air gun to shape it back and sorteed it enjoy

 

sum more pics of the shell strated to take all the graphics off it am not jumpin rite in to this soon as am back ma hoilday think ill be strippin it down and blasting the full shell then zink/ecth prime and high build prime it then will either repair the quarters and modify them and prob just but a new front panel and ill just buy the wide front and rear back bumpers a love the side skirts there made from box sections and flat steel so they dnt brake stepin out the car and ideal for jackin it up ect

well got the shell in primer and got all my bits togeather cause iam leaving work so iam lookjing for a new home for the fex until i get my gargae built car needs sum bits n bobs tidied up in the inside but untill then am now going to start putting on external panels got my engine sitting there to well the base got sum other bits n bobs to take from my zvh dun a set of wheels for a mate also they were chromed but the centres was badly flakin so i dun them gun metal grey with a chrome lip :P

 

well not updated this for a while as ive been busy with a few things mainly starting my own buisness dong powder coating few pics of my workshop and sum sample wheels ive dun emm all the repairs are now dun on the van sills are on picking up the rear panel from ford 2morro also pikd up a set of 16" tsw multispokes also started work on my 2.0 zetec base block its now ready for blasting and painting then it wil be sent for sum machining ect fingers crossd soon as i get the van painted and on the road the fezzy shell panels will be getting put on and that will be geting finished few random pics in there aswell of a brand new jag shell for a customers supercharger jag and a nice evo in to be jigged will have more updates by the weekend ohh forgot to mention check out my new ride while il get the projects finisd its ma mates wee sisters bike i debadged it and modified th seat to fit the sahpe of my balls !
