Well i have got going again with it ,,loll,

Shell was sent for sand blasting on wed , then to bodyshop for etch primer then back to my workshop for sealer work

It will be the touring car colours ,,CALTEX , Red and white

with white centrelock wheels OZ mags i wanted BBS wheels like yours but couldnt find any

I have the engine ready mate

500bhp , escoss head , 200 block , Gen T4 and rs500 8 inj inlette running 8 greens

Engine is one of Steve scotts engines that he rebuilt and sold to the owner i bought it from

Will have Gen rs500 cooler / boost pipes etc , so will look like a proper touring car under the bonnet , twin fuel pumps etc in the boot

 

Thats gonna look mental, love the cage.

this was built on an unused NEW shell ,,thats why its mint

Shell is fully seam welded inc , all window and door apatures

Its also fitted with air jack towers

 

This engine is one that was fitted to scottys first white RWD focus ,,so i was told ,, Not the one Dave has for sale ,,,altho i would like that for it as its a gen 500 engine

the mk2 shell is still sat in the same place , im slowly gathering all the bits so one day i can just put it together

thats spot on

if you put the rs500 stuff on it , it will be just the same as an rs500 would be on track infact alot better due to the shell and lot better tracking this than your gen 500 road car atleast you seen the light

hi paul

if your not putting compression struts on it use the saff anti roll bar not the 3dr one

and use escort cos rear anti roll bar with saff/escort traling arms

you might have to make brackets to hold the rear anti roll bar if it hasn't got any allready

it must be so easy to build a car when you dont have to source bits no wonder paul loves doing it year in year out
