Default maram shafts

is there a maram shaft available for a T4 off a rs500?

if there is whats the cost of these beauties??

Speak to Harvey at SCS (01733 576 614) he has three fully re-conditioned T4s with maram shafts that he would do on an exhange basis for your T4....

do i have to have the maram shaft for anti-lag??

I have on mine, so would recommend it. You can get away without it for VERY short periods of time on a VERY mild set up.

No you dont need a maram shaft...most modern shafts will handle up to 950 c a maram will handle around 200 degrees more.

Only really needed on a rally car/track car...on the road you'd never melt the shaft IMO....To be safe suck it and see with an EGT gauge Your find a T4 shafted will be circa 2k

sorry but this has annoyed me for ages ... its not maram its MAR-M 247

so called because the company that sells that material specification is called Martin Marietta.
