Default Cameras & Sample shots?

Hi All,

Looking to get a Digital SLR and not 100% sure what to go for.

Got my eye on a Canon 350d Rebel XT which looks pretty good but you pay a premium on them for the name. Just after advice on that camera and similar Digital SLR alternatives.

Also its a good excuse for a shot of your motor to show off the camera quality

Anyone able to help me out.

Cheers

As Tiff says, the resizing whatsit will balls up decent shots on here.

I've got a Nikon D50 and think it's great. The D40x is just as good.

Have a read here : http://www.dpreview.com for loads of reviews. I went for image quality rather than features, but that's why the reviews on dpreview are so good.

A couple of examples:

Remember for fast burst shooting, you'll need a good memory card - none of your generic tesco shite will do. Sandisk extreme are good

Nearly forgot to post may favourite picture of last year taken with my Nikon D50

Well, I spent my money on a Nikon D80 and some good quality lenses.
A good camera can take crappy pics with a bad lens, so dont spend it all on the actual camera.
