hi everybody,i bought this sierra sapphire cosworth reg no g533 rrc,flint grey 2wd completly standard except exhaust and bilstien suspension from the doncaster area last december.it had been stolen from york 11 months or so previous to this and had sat in a salvage yard for most of that time.i think whoever stole it had a key for it as there was no lock damage and the guy i bought it from had to remove the alarm as it was still connected.it came with only a dashboard and knackered doorcards(cloth).i suspect the car was destined for the track as the thieves had started welding in a cage.since i have bought the car i have done 400 miles in it and its only showing 31k.im not sure if this is 131k or 31k,but it was still in its original paint and panels,except front wings.i have had it resprayed smokestone blue,have loads and loads of new ford rubbers,seals,mouldings to put on it when it comes back,should be before christmas.i will try and upload pics,any info would be much appreciated as it came with absolutely no history,i know it has had 5 owners and thats it!cheers,lee

hi,the pics dont do it justice,it was complete and very tidy when i got it,these pics were taken outside the paintshop and it is partly stripped down,no rub strips,spoiler trim etc,i paid £2500 for it and it didnt cost anything to mot,ive spent a fortune on getting it painted smokestone blue and all the other parts.i took photos of it today al painted but cant upload them as my camera lead isnt working.watch this space though!
