i downloaded it and a bit torrent thing from download.com.
But when i click on something to download it says "bittorrent was passed a file name that doesnt exist, either clear the tempory internet files or right click the link and save as"

Well i right clicked the link and it saves it as a html doc, when i click on it it comes up with unauthorised download and loads of other shit lol.

any ideas, this happens all the time.

 

what bittorrent client you got ? cos bin it and get http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ I use it loads and it never fails

 

Suprnova has put some script on there site to stop people stealing there torrents. So now instead of getting a torrent attachemnt when u right click and save target as u now get it saved as a html doc. Best client I have found works best for me is this one http://download.bittornado.com/downl...w32install.exe

 

Benn, that only happens on some of the links, I discovered this the other week, TT had the same thing when I sorted his out the other day, some of them work if you just single click, as apposed to doing the right click and save target as

its not when some one trys to steal their torrernts ,it when some one uses a 3rd party tracker,Suprnova will not host anything but their own and will not let you click on to a file that uses the 3rd party tracker and download from it

Suprnova dont have there own tracker and havent done for at least a year. All the torrents on there are on public trackers. Even the torrents I upload onto there is with a public tracker.
