my temperature gauge on my saff has started to under read.
take this points to a dodgy temp sensor?
is that the one at the bottom of the rad?
how easy is it to change and how much are they?

No mate it's the one in the head exhaust side just behind the exhaust cam sprocket, the in the rad is for cooling fans.

 

but why the poll

unscrew and fit new one and then clip back on

 

Easy mate, just dont get one from Fords as they are £52 or £6.97 from Halfords. EXACTLY the same

the reason for the poll is that alot of people say their car is stage three but it only has greens, chip and a three bar. is that what everyone thinks is a real stage three? or is a bigger turbo etc needed?

 

didnt think your local halford stocked things like that?
just ask for a temp sensor for a saf cossie?

 

erm ill have a look on modnay when im at work

its prob on the system as something else though as most cossie stuff aint listed, the oil for cossies is wrong too

 

the sender is not necessarily at fault - you could have an airlock around it
