Default wheel PCD

is there any way to get the probe wheel hub to fit on a sapph as i have found some wheels and they only come in 5x114 and am led to believe so is the probe.

also i do not really want to change the discs etc so anyway without changing them.

Your one option is to change your hubs to granada 5 stud x 110 then use 5 stud hub adapters to go from 100 to 114

I doubt the probe hub will fit as its originally a mazda part

the granada hubs have a 5x112 PCD (not 110) with the same 63.4mm centre bore as the sierra

I can give you some info on swaping to granada hubs if you want (without changing the struts)

I'd agree that it will be cheaper and easier to get wheels that fit either the sierra or granada

if the granada is 112 and the wheels are 114, you wight be able to use 'wobble bolts' ??

thanks you guys just confirmed what i thought.i do not really want to change the hubs as it involves changing too much stuff and would be cheaper to get the correct wheels

A PROBE IS BASICALLY A MAZDA MX6.

Its jap, so the wheel stud pattern will be 5x114.3

Id debate anythin from the ford stable would fit.

Cheaper to get right wheels than attempt swaps.

On a positive note, the wheels will be easy to sell as ur wheels will fit all jap cars with 5 stud wheels

Swapping to 5x112 gives you a lot more choice in wheels though.
We swapped to 5x112 on my Sierra because I wanted OZ ST but couldn't get the proper ET on 4x108. On 5x112 you can also get wider wheels. The The OZ's I bought for instance are 8x17, maximal width on 4x108 is 7,5x17. I could've swapped carriers but then I would have had to block the ABS sensor hole and buy different shocks. Didn't want to do that because I just had bought brand new adjustable Koni's
My m8 modded the Sierra carriers to accept the bigger Granada wheelbearings and thus the 5x112 hub. My Sierra isn't a (real) Cossie though so I'm not sure you need to swap wheelbearings in a Cossie carrier to be able to fit the Granada 5x112 hub.

My uprights arn't cossie ones either - I had the Granada hubs turned down to fit the sierra bearings instead

the only problem the 5 stud conversion gives you is the brakes

std ABS/ V6 type sierra calipers are the same as the granada ones, apart from the offset and the number of studs - so you need 5mm spacers and longer bolts for the calipers

Audi and Merc wheels are also 5x112 but have different centre bores and Audi's use 14mm studs/bolts
