nottinghams a great place to live,its just a small minority think it should be like the bronx, unfortunately this small minority makes the news all the time. i have lived all over UK and settled here 20 years ago,still think its the best city to be in, i dont understand about this driveby shooting ?it could have been a vendetta gone wrong,the police here are goin to do a new york stylee zero tolerance on crime 
a while ago a friend watched her car being stolen, she was on her mobile telling the cops what was happening and where the car was heading, they said they couldnt attend right now but would give her a crime number for her insurance
zero tolerance on speedsters morelike (easy pickings)
feel sorry for the girl that got shot and also her family but i cant comprehend how or why any person could shoot and kill a 14 year old girl for no reason ?the only thing i can think of is that someone recently got shot in the meadows and this was a retaliation kiling in st annes ? at the end of the day its all down to drugs, the sooner they stop importing crack and start dishing out weed then the sooner everyone will mellow out.

the old st annes / medows war i dont know martin tbh thiers been alot of shootings lately when i was workin in radford at the gearbox place last year was stood outside leanin against the wall avin a fag lunchtime and "BANG" dude rides past on a mountainbike trys to shoot a guy who pulls a gun faster and kills him 
tiz fookin nutz agreed its a great city just got to have ya wits about ya crack and brown is doing it and to them thats already on it weed is summat ya do in the meantime till you get yer next rock very sad been here all my life but my kiddy wont be brought up here for sure

HAve to agree with Nomad and Rudey Nottingham is a top city
Goose fair was always an anual high light the largest traveeling fair in the world
But then to oooobe tarnished by a shooting of a "child" is unforgivable
The Notts police need to have a serious rethink of their policy to reduce gun crime cos it aint working
I visit Notts most weekends to see family etc and travel through some of the scummiest places to get there and nothing as ever happeneed (meadows/St Anns / Broxtowe / etc)
Yet the news will always play up on killings and shootings etc . Its a great city with a few wankers
Guns do kill people Wappers dont ...
I know the damage that guns can do i built the fooking things for 7 Years and fired pretty much most weapons

I don't like cities at the best of times, but spent 3 yeasrs in Nottingham, and have to say, as cities go, I really liked it, and enjoyed my time there. There's scum minority everywhere unfortunately.... no rational explanation for some of these events.. fookin sad though.

and thats the danger any coont can shoot 1 is why its all changed yrs back you had the traditional crime families keeping every one in check on each estate now frelancers everywere muppets with guns with no rispec and crack/cocaine fueld ego,s to satisfy makes for a dangerous combo keepin ya head down low is the general feeling amoung alot of peeps i know and these are men not boys
