im running a quickshift filter on mine... i went for the universal one as its bigger than the rs one... mines on a 90 degree bend straight off the turbo...so sits next to /under the battery tray....the battery is going in the boot over winter so the filter can be fitted a bit neater...

Under the battery tray is normal.....in summer i angle mine downwards to gain better airflow/cooler air....as it can sometimes sit a little close to the engine for my liking.

Don't do that in winter though, if it's low to the floor and front of the car it will just suck up water n shit from the road and puddles
