Hi... just a little query about my escort

looking under the bonnet i have an inlet minifold wich the induton hose goes over the top of the engine.. but looking at some other cars of the same year and engine size.... the inlet is behind the head and the induction hose goes round the engine

Whats the difference with these???

 

is yours the silver metal one? word is that it flows better than the plastic black one which goes on the back

 

yeah... mines is metal... has the crossover pipe for the air filter over the cam cover... certain looks better than than the black one lol
